［学会発表］Critical Tourism Studies Asia Pacific Inaugural Biennial Conferenceにて研究発表を行いました

Critical Tourism Studies (CTS) は2005年に設立された研究ネットワークで、Critical Tourism Studies-Asia Pacific (CTS-AP) は、2016年3月にCTR設置準備室が開催した研究会「Sustainability & Tourism」を発端に、その参加者が中心となって「アジアでの環境変化、社会、文化の変容とツーリズムの関わりを、地域、コミュニティの視点から議論、より持続可能な社会の実現に貢献する」ことを目的にCTSのアジア太平洋部会として創設されました。
CTS-AP第1回学術大会は2018年3月3日（土）～6日（火）にかけて、「Re-centering Critical Tourism Studies」をテーマにインドネシアのGadjah Mada Universityで開催され、CTRがスポンサーとなった他、CTR 専任研究員であるDr. Adam Doeringが大会企画、論文査読、運営に関わりました。23カ国から161名の発表があり、本学からは学生10名（博士課程3名、修士課程5名、学士課程2名）、教職員5名が出席しました。CTS-APでは、大会の成果としてジャーナル特集号及び書籍による発表を計画しています。第2回大会は2020年2月に本学での開催を予定しています。
