和歌山大学国際観光学研究センター（CTR）では、若手研究者の育成を図ることを目的とし、セミナーやワークショップ等さまざまなイベントを開催しています。
今回のワークショップでは、国際学会とは何か、研究発表を行うためのスキルや質疑応答への対応方法等、国際学会への参加に伴うさまざまな事柄について、CTR専任研究員のこれまでの経験を基にお話しいたします。また国際学会への参加に関する疑問や不安等、参加者の皆さまの質問にお答えするオープンディスカッションの時間もございますので、国際学会への参加を検討されている皆さまのご参加をお待ちしております。
※ワークショップは対面とオンラインのハイブリッドで行います。参加には事前の申し込みが必要ですので、下記よりお申し込みください（参加費は無料）。
※ワークショップは英語で行われますが、任意でZoomの翻訳字幕機能も利用可能です。

パネリスト
●モハメド?エルバルバリ（和歌山大学国際観光学研究センター 講師）
Mohamed Elbarbary is a Center for Tourism Research (CTR) lecturer. He received a master’s degree in Tourism Guidance from Fayoum University in Egypt in 2016 and a PhD in World Cultural Heritage Studies from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 2022. Then, he acted as a researcher at the Faculty of Art and Design at Tsukuba, where he led a research project in collaboration with researchers from Hamburg University. Dr. Mohamed adopts a multidisciplinary research approach that covers different research areas (e.g., cultural heritage studies, tourism studies, human geography, and linguistic landscapes) and participated in several international conferences.
●山北 隆太郎（和歌山大学国際観光学研究センター 助教）
Ryutaro Yamakita is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Tourism Research, Wakayama University, Japan. He obtained his PhD in Human Kinetics (Sport Management) from the University of Ottawa in 2024. With expertise in event management and organizational theory, his current research focuses on why and how recurring events die, revive, and/or survive.
