[Conference presentation] TTRA Asia Pacific Annual Chapter Conference 2024

The Annual Conference of the Travel and Tourism Research Association Asia Pacific Chapter (TTRA-APac) was held between 30th November and 3rd December at Dusit Thani College in Bangkok, Thailand. From Wakayama University, CTR Researchers, Dr. Mohamed Elbarbary and Dr. Satoshi Sasaki (Faculty of Tourism) presented their research.
Dr. Sasaki gave an oral presentation in the Nature based tourism session on how national parks should be managed for sustainable tourism based on questionnaires on Japanese people's experience and awareness of using national parks.

Dr. Elbarbary gave an oral presentation at the Cultural Tourism session on his research into changes in urban landscapes and linguistic use in Shin-Okubo, Tokyo, and Neukölln, Berlin, where many tourists enjoy diverse ethnic cultures and food. This presentation was awarded the “Best Paper Award” at the conference.
