In recent years, living environments in which the real world and the virtual world (metaverse) are fused together are being constructed. In this major, students will comprehensively learn technologies and knowledge to realize cross reality, from robotics that works on the real world to CG and AR to construct a metaverse. Students will also learn about user-centered information design through ergonomics and UX (all user experiences gained through products and services), and cultivate the ability to work at the cutting edge of cross- reality development.

Research Introduction
In the Spatial Augmented Reality lab, we are focusing on developing technologies for manipulating texture and assisting with vision using ray projection. In the following video, we introduce our research on manipulating the glossiness and transparency of objects in real-time through optical feedback processing using a projector and camera.
Our goal is to achieve seamless integration between the real and virtual worlds and contribute to the realization of the Metaverse society.

We have developed a VR exhibition system that allows visitors to observe the process of restoring the stuffed form of the Japanese wolf and its ecology. There are only four such stuffed Japanese wolves in the world, and one of them, our university's, is reported to have an unnatural shape. Therefore, we developed an exhibition system that enables visitors to observe the Japanese wolves in their natural habitat through VR by using CG to infer and reconstruct the original form from real skeleton.
